Delivery

Our standard despatch time is 5 days from receipt of order or signing off of your proof (whichever is the later). In these days of ‘instant’ delivery this may sound slow but please bear in mind that this is not an ‘off the shelf’ product. Our process is as follows :-

Day 1 – Process order and check artwork
Day 2 – Make plates
Day 3 – Job on Press
Day 4 – Drying
Day 5 – Cut, check and despatch.
i.e order on Monday and we will despatch on Friday.

All our orders are despatched using TNT, a very reliable overnight courier and will be delivered between 9am and 5pm the following day. Please note that although TNT have a 99% success rate once we have handed them the parcel we are in their hands!

Delivery is charged at £10 per order irrespective of how much or how little is ordered at the same time. Unfortunately couriers charge much more for deliveries outside the UK mainland and therefore our standard charge to these locations is £30.

If your job is particularly urgent and is placed by 3pm we can combine steps 1, 2 and 3 meaning that we are able to despatch on day 3. (i.e. order on Monday and we will despatch on Wednesday) This speedy service does somewhat throw our usually smooth systems into disarray and there is a surcharge of 30% for this service but we do upgrade the despatch service to a noon delivery.

Finally we can offer a ‘I am really in a hole and my job depends on this’ service – if we know early enough in the day we can print and despatch the job the same day. To do this we have to ‘interleave’ the job once it has been printed (i.e place blank paper between each printed sheet) so that we can cut it even though the ink is still wet without risking the ink transferring to the sheet below. To quote an often used phrase in printing it then ‘dries on the van’ so that we can actually have it delivered to you by 9am the following morning. This does naturally take a fair few man hours to achieve so please contact us for a price if you are desperate!
